Okou

Okou is a UK based duo that blends sounds from around the globe: a worldy mix of blues, pop, folk, roots music and soul.

Their debut album is called Serpentine (2010) .

The group is based round a collaboration between singer Tatiana Heintz from Ivory Coast  West Africa, and Swiss guitarist Gilbert Trefzger whose background is Egyptian.

Super Duper Love

Super Duper Love is a classic funky pre-disco song from Sugar Billy. The track appears on Super Duper Love (1975). Most people know this song in Joss Stones version on her debut album, The Soul Sessions (2003).

But Billy’s version cannot be beaten! Great organ, funky guitar… and his voice!
