X Plastaz is a hip hop group from Arusha, Tanzania. They call their music Maasai hip hop, a mixture of traditional Maasai chanting and elements from hip hop, dancehall and even Hindi music. Their Swahili rap lyrics are about topics like Aids, unemployment, divorce or life in prison.
The song Nini dhambi kwa mwenye dhiki is my favorite.
